When will I receive my payment?When you discuss the details of your contract, you will be told whether your timesheet is paid in Net 15 or Net 30 terms. Net 15 terms: The payment is made 15 days after the end of the payroll cycle. For example: The timesheet covering the period May 1-15, 2023 will be paid on May 31, 2023 The timesheet covering the period May 16-31, 2023 will be paid on June 15, 2023 Net 30 terms: The payment is made 30 days after the end of the payroll cycle. For example: The timesheet covering the period May 1-15, 2023 will be paid on June 15, 2023 The timesheet covering the period May 16-31, 2023 will be paid on June 30, 2023

How do I fill out the timesheet?Once your contract has been signed, you will receive access to our online timesheet portal on Bullhorn. The timesheet can be filled out on daily basis. Select the payroll cycle on the calendar on the left side. Select “Create” to create a new timesheet for the payroll cycle. Enter in your “time in”, “time out”, and the amount of time for lunch. Your time in/out needs to be entered using standard time (AM/PM). Military time will not work with the timesheet portal. Once you have completed your timesheet, click on “Submit” to submit it to your manager. It is your responsibility to log back into the portal to ensure your timesheet has been approved by your manager. If it has not been approved, please follow up with your manager directly.

What is my payroll cycle?When you discuss the details of your contract, you will be told whether your timesheet needs to be submitted on a semi-monthly or monthly basis: Semi monthly: 2 timesheets are submitted per month. The first timesheet will cover the period from the 1st to the 15th. The second timesheet will cover the period from the 16th to the last day of the month. Monthly: 1 timesheet is submitted for the whole month.

What happens if my timesheet is rejected?If your manager rejects your timesheet, you will receive an email indicating that it has been rejected with notes from your manager. Please sign into the Bullhorn timesheet portal, make the necessary changes, and submit it again to your manager for approval.

Do you use Direct deposit for my pay?Yes, a void cheque/direct deposit information will be requested from you.

Who can sign the timesheet?Your manager at the client site will sign your timesheet. If it is unclear who this person is, please reach out to your recruiter to receive further clarifications.

When is my timesheet due?Your approved timesheet is due within 2 business days after the payroll cycle to ensure you receive your payment on time. For example, for the payroll cycle May 1-15, 2023, the timesheet is due on May 17, 2023.

When is my invoice due?If you are incorporated, you are required to provide us with an invoice which matches the hours on your approved timesheet for the payroll cycle. The invoice is due within 2 business days after the payroll cycle. The invoice needs to be emailed to us at timesheets@newfoundrecruiting.com.
